Prune roses

Revisit flower maintenance with deadheading, weeding and fertilizing as needed

Complete pruning of trees to shape and to rise undercarriages and complete the pruning of crepe myrtles

Shrub bed mulch applications can be completed in March

Begin fertilizing trees and shrubs

Complete cutting Liriope back

Discontinue the application of pre-emergent weed control and begin the use of post emergent weed control to shrub beds and lawns as needed

Warm season turf should now have reached the height of 1 inch for Bermuda and 1.5 inches for Zoysia
